SECRETARY\LEGAL ASSISTANT

Wright Abshire, Attorneys, P.C., a small firm in Bellaire, Texas, is looking for an individual to work in the office. This person must have empathy for the elderly and individuals in need of complicated legal services. The select candidates with 5 years’ experience, particularly in Estate Planning and Probate, must have the ability to handle client contact with patience and respect.

In this fast-paced environment, the incumbent will provide administrative support for Partners as well as staff attorneys and co-ordinate with other Wright Abshire staff. The candidate must possess strong attention to detail. be focused, self-motivated, able to organize and balance work between multiple cases from beginning to end and meet deadlines all the while staying flexible.

Secretarial skills required are superior written and exceptional communication skills including heavy telephone, email, and correspondence. In addition, skills needed are quick and accurate typing, computer, and copier/scanner/printer knowledge. Qualifying individuals with the knowledge of WordPerfect, Word and Excel, and timekeeping software are encouraged to apply.
