Biography

Andrew graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2014 and earned his law degree from Vermont Law School in 2020. During law school, Andrew was a Notes Editor for the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law, as well as the Vice President of the Christian Law Fellowship. Andrew was admitted to the Texas Bar in October 2020.

Before joining Wright Abshire in 2024, Mr. Dinwoodie was an associate attorney at Doehring & Doehring, PLLC handling matters including estate planning, probate, and guardianship, as well as probate litigation issues. Mr. Dinwoodie also interned for the Honorable Judge Jason Cox of Harris County Probate Court No. 3 during law school. Mr. Dinwoodie is well versed in the various issues arising from estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters. Mr. Dinwoodie understands the importance of careful planning as well as the delicate nature of probate estates.

Mr. Dinwoodie is a member of the Houston Bar Association (Probate, Trust and Estates Section) and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Andrew lives in Houston with his wife and their dog. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and enjoys watching football, basketball, baseball, and soccer.
